Demo Mode In Kontakt?
Why do I see a red DEMO MODE in Kontakt?
The DEMO Mode of Kontakt is there because you're using the FREE Kontakt Player and not the full version of Kontakt. All of our libraries require the Full Version of Kontakt to run. If you already own the Full Version of Kontakt, you can register your version of Kontakt using the serial code you received from Native Instruments within Native Access. If you don't own the Full Version of Kontakt, you will need to purchase a license from Native Instruments using the following link:
Native Instruments Kontakt 6
I already own the Full Version of Kontakt but I'm still seeing the DEMO MODE?
If you own the full version of Kontakt and are still seeing 'DEMO' This might mean your version of Kontakt has reverted back to the Player Version. This can be caused by a number of reasons including, updating your computer/OS, updating certain applications, having both Kontakt 5 and 6 installed on the same machine, or just a simple read write error.
To confirm that your version of Kontakt has reverted to the player version you will see a Kontakt icon in the top left corner of Kontakt. If you click on this you should see one of the following
If you are using the Full Version of Kontakt it will read KONTAKT 5/KONTAKT 6
If you are using the Free Version of Kontakt it will read KONTAKT 5 PLAYER/ KONTAKT 6 PLAYER
If you see the Kontakt 5/Kontakt 6 Player, this means you are using the Free Player and will need to activate your version of Kontakt within Native Access.
We can correct this by registering Kontakt within Native Access.
Once you have Native Access open, you can click the (Add a serial) in the top left corner.
Once you have clicked this you will get a dialogue box popped up which will ask for a 25 character serial code. You will need to enter the serial code you received from Native Access for the Full Version of Kontakt.
Once you have entered your serial code you can click add serial and this will re-register the Full Version of Kontakt.
