Rhythmic Revolution for Kontakt VST-AU-AAX Samples overview

Rhythmic Revolution was created by Academy Award, TEC and G.A.N.G Award Winning Composer, Troels Folmann and one of the world’s leading sound designers, Professor Mario Bajardi and acclaimed Percussionist, Nino Errera.

Rhythmic Revolution is an advanced instrument capable of creating an eternity of new and inspiring materials. It can literally randomize something new in eternity. Whether you want a Birdman like drum groove or the grittiest of sound designs. It can be used as a phenomenal tool for filmic action grooves to the most floating and ambient patches. We see it as the worlds most extreme adaptive sample randomizer. Designed to surprise you and be controlled when needed. Everything is fully synced to your host-tempo.

The heart of Rhythmic Revolution revolves around two different worlds of sounds. The conventional world of drums and percussion as we know it – and an unconventional world of custom instruments and extreme sound design. All processed carefully by Professor Mario Bajardi through a KYMA system with a custom DSP signal chain designed for the library.

Rhythmic Revolution contains a completely new Quadro-Engine with four parallel modular systems. Each module has its own sample pool, its own effects systems and its own convolution impulses. This means you have four independent sample sets, fx systems and convolution impulses that can freely be mixed or randomized together. In addition it contains over 300 hand-crafted Textural Convolutions that creates a textural delay to the Rhythmic Revolution. The library also comes with a full reverse options, so you can reverse anything you want with a single click. We also added our newest Chaos FX 3.3 and a brand new Panorama architecture that allows individual tuning and panning of each sample layer.

Rhythmic Revolution contains over 15 GB of content (compressed to 7.1GB) created by Prof. Mario Bajardi by using a very complicated chained setup that includes a full KYMA system and ability to physically draw waveforms in real-time.

Quadro-Engine

Rhythmic Revolution is centered around our new Quadro-Engine. This four-part modular system offers you the ability to control four individual rhythm sections, four convolution reverbs and four FX systems together at the same time. Each of the four modules can either be triggered independently or blended together using a step-based crossfade sequencer. The four convolution reverbs contains hundreds and hundreds of experimental convolution reverbs. But the best thing about the system is the RANDOM function. All it takes is one click and you have created an entire, never heard before, universe of rhythms.

Organic BPM Synced Samples

Rhythmic Revolution contains over 4.000 BPM synced organic samples – recorded by Professor Mario Bajardi together with Acclaimed Percussionist, Nino Errera. The library contain 9 main groups of sounds: “Drum Kit, Percussion, Ethnic Percussion, Body Percussion, Metallic Objects, Air, Water, Plants and Plastic”. The sound sources range from a vintage jazz kit to the shell of a turtle, from contact mics on plants to junkyard percussion, from making percussion with air sounds to panflutes, from body percussion to beatboxing. There are no limits in the Rhythmic Revolution.

Textural Convolutions

Rhythmic Revolution contains 4 parallel convolution engines pumped with hundreds of textural convolution impulses. Textural Convolutions is a new way of using convolution to create textural delays. The idea is to use non-conventional convolution impulses to augment the existing sound. So when the instrument delays – you will not just get a normal delay of the instrument, but also get the delay and texture of the convolution. This concept is called Textural Convolutions and we hand-crafted over 300 new impulses for the Rhythmic Revolution – and can trigger four different ones in the Quadro-Engine.

Reversed Revolution

We also created the entire Rhythmic Revolution in REVERSE. Every single sample now plays backwards – creating an entirely new take on percussion. This is great for creating more underscore type of beds and works fantastic when mixed with forward grooves too. We made it super simple to reverse samples with a single click. The Quadro-Engine allows you to have four parallel rhythms playing. You can reverse or non-reverse each of the rhythms. You can even cross-fade between them for some true rhythmic magic.

Rhythmic Control

Rhythmic Revolution offers you ultimate control. Whether

contains a massive global FX section and RANDOMIZATION system, but we also added our latest 3.3 FX Chaos Engine on top. This feature is recommended for power-users that want to shape their rhythms even further, including Filter, Step-Based Filter, EQ, Bit-Crusher, Distortion, Dual Stereo-Delay and two additional convolution systems on top of our custom Textural Convolutions. The Chaos Effects run independently from the rest of the Quadro-Engine effects, so you total control over the sound.
