The Century Brass Series is the definitive, state-of-the-art collection of ultra-realistic, truly emotional brass instruments.
The full Century Ensemble Brass range includes 3 different Horn Ensembles, 2 Trumpet Ensembles, a 3-piece Trombone ensemble, a full brass sketching tool, and tempo-synced ostinato ensembles for Horns, Trumpets, Trombones, and a Tuba. Across all these ensembles, every technique is vividly playable from pianissimo to fortissimo.
Century Brass was created with cutting-edge recording and sampling techniques. Every legato is not only layered in dynamics, but also offers completely smooth transitions, even when playing polyphonic legato. We recorded a wealth of different short notes, going far beyond the typical staccatos and marcatos. We recorded unique fanfare short notes, with more bite and tension as well as more traditional articulations at multiple lengths. There are more arcs than you could dream of, and of course all arcs are now dynamically layered and recorded at multiple lengths, featuring true polyphonic legato.
Ostinato Brass features modular ensembles with a carefully auditioned and hand-picked selection of trumpets, horns, trombones, and tuba, creating a comprehensive yet nuanced brass section. Every ostinato pattern and phrase is tempo-synced for the ultimate ease of use, while still maintaining the human imperfections that make music shine. Each section was recorded individually, allowing for complete flexibility and customization in the compositional process.

Over multiple years and hundreds of hours of recording, our focus was on capturing of the perfect imperfections and true essence of playing music. From varying short notes and flowing patterns to an array of emotional legatos and unique effects, century brass is seeming with humanity.
