EPIC ENSEMBLE EVERYTHING
The Epic Ensemble Collection is a massive cinematic scoring bundle designed to deliver unmatched scale, power, and emotional depth. Featuring a wide range of orchestral, choral, percussive, and hybrid ensembles, this collection was meticulously recorded with large groups of performers, multiple mic perspectives, and deep articulation sets to provide an incredibly lifelike and immersive experience. Whether you're scoring for film, trailers, or games, this collection offers everything from thunderous low-end and sweeping melodies to dynamic rhythms and rich atmospheric textures. With advanced UI controls and intuitive workflow features, it’s a complete toolkit for composers who want bold, expressive sound at their fingertips.
Legion 66 Basses The foundation of the Legion series began with 66 symphonic double basses—a thunderous ensemble of musicians from nine countries across Europe, recorded in the iconic Zlin recording hall. This once-in-a-lifetime session captured the deepest, most resonant low-end ever sampled. Each player brought their all to the recording, resulting in a monumental wall of sound. Why 66? Because that was every professional bassist we could find on the continent. The library includes an expansive selection of articulations, tempo-synced ostinatos, and even a unique suite of synths derived from the ensemble’s organic tone. A binaural mic was used to enhance the immersive depth of this singular recording.
Legion 66 Tubas, performed and recorded in unison, form a rumbling sonic force that redefines what low brass can do in an orchestral setting. The tubas bring raw power and rich harmonic character, offering a stunning mix of articulations, from biting shorts to atmospheric effects. The ensemble was captured with 10 microphone perspectives, including a dedicated Trailer Mix designed for instant cinematic impact. Whether used to add foundational heft or aggressive punch, the tuba ensemble offers unparalleled gravitas for epic scoring.
Legion 66 Trombones Recorded with the same precision and scale, Legion 66 Trombones delivers bold and commanding brass textures. This powerhouse ensemble shines in both aggressive and lyrical contexts, with a wide palette of articulations and performance techniques. From sharp, snappy shorts to slow-building, expressive swells, this library gives you everything needed to harness the trombone’s cinematic potential. The included Trailer Mix mic provides a ready-to-go blockbuster sound, while close and hall mics give you full mixing flexibility.
Legion 66 Cellos bring sweeping emotion and formidable power to the Legion series. The sound is both soulful and immense, recorded with a blend of close, spot, and hall microphones to capture every nuance. This ensemble excels at driving ostinatos, rich sustains, and emotive arcs—ideal for scoring anything from heroic moments to melancholic reflections. The Trailer Mix mic adds instant polish for trailers and action cues, while the full articulation set gives you granular control over phrasing and texture.
The Legion Batucada ensemble transports the thunderous rhythm of Brazil’s Carnival straight into your compositions. Featuring 33 drummers performing in unison—and broken into sections totaling 88 drums—this library includes 5 Timbas, 9 Tamborims, 6 Guaches, 11 Chocalhos, 12 Caixas, 12 Repiniques, 12 Surdos, 11 Dobras, and 10 Cowbells. Each group was recorded separately, along with two solo performances, to offer the most in-depth Batucada sampling available. The result is a vibrant, dynamic, and percussively massive library that blends precision with explosive energy.
Majestica Ultra is the complete arsenal of the world’s largest sampled orchestra—240 players strong—featuring strings, brass, high and low woodwinds, and percussion. Building on the full power of Majestica Pro, Ultra expands the library with a curated selection of synths, cinematic ambiences, and Hybrid Effects crafted specifically for epic scoring. With all mic positions from Pro and a deeply flexible interface powered by the Century UI, Majestica Ultra is a true “score-in-a-box,” offering an unmatched symphonic soundscape for composers seeking scale, impact, and versatility.
Embark on a choral odyssey with Lacrimosa Pro, the pinnacle of epic choirs featuring 200 singers. True Layered Legato, diverse articulations, and an advanced word/phrase sequencer offer unprecedented control. The choir was recorded in a renowned orchestral hall, capturing a rich variety of vocal expressions with six microphone positions, including new spot mics to add definition and even more in-your-face power to this massive choir.
Journey into a new era with Insolidus and Silka. These choirs introduce expressive polyphonic legato, allowing seamless chord and syllable progressions that sync to your tempo. Insolidus offers a soft, distant ambiance, perfect for emotional compositions, while Silka offers unique rhythms and phrases both powerful and subtle. Hand-picked by master conductor Petr Polonanik, the heart of these libraries lies in the talented 40 male and 25 female singers.
The Epic Drums Series is a comprehensive collection of deep-sampled, dramatic, cinematic drums! Our goal with these drums was to sample them so extensively that we would never need to again, so we sampled every variety of drum we could get our hands on and recorded every minute detail. These ensembles feature up to 16 velocity layers and 10 round robin repetitions, making for a fluid, playable, authentic drumming experience.
The Epic Taiko Ensemble & Epic Solo Taiko feature the highly renowned Taiko Ensemble group Emeryville Taiko, led by master Susan Horn. The recordings lasted over a week, which allowed us to capture an unprecedented amount of content. There are four main categories of samples: Multi-sampled Taiko Ensemble, Live Loops, extra ensemble sounds (ex. screams, yells, yell-hits, percussive cannon “Tekkan”), and bonus presets. We sampled all varieties of Taikos, including the booming O-daiko, Nagado Daiko, and the smaller and more snare like Shime-daiko. The ensemble played the drums with hands and alternative stick types, creating a comprehensive collection of clacks and rim clicks.
The Epic Frame Drum Ensemble contains deep sampled Irish Bodhrán drums, North African Tar drums, Egyptian Riqs, Persian Dafs and North American tribal drums. We captured them in the same large A-frame chapel as the Epic Taikos, creating an authentic, naturally massive sound that no artificial algorithmic or convolution reverb can truly simulate. We recorded them in small sections and as a full ensemble, covering both traditional and extended playing styles and articulations, as well as tempo-synced performance loops.
Solo Frame Drums includes 2 styles of Irish Bodhrán, one African Tar drum, and a North American tribal buffalo hide shamanic drum. These drums were captured in a close, dry studio setting, covering traditional and extended playing styles and articulations. Each drum has a distinct character and tone, making for a diverse and detailed collection. Epic Frame Drum Ensemble & Solo Frame Drums make the perfect couple, covering intimate and deep sounds as well as brutal, bas-ass sounds.
Epic Toms Ensemble includes a variety of powerful ensembles, using a combination of high toms, roto-toms, octabans, floor toms, bass drums, and custom-designed mega-toms. They are perfect for raging battle scenes or when you just need a loud boom.
The Epic Dhol Ensemble contains a large ensemble of Punjab Dhols, a double-sided barrel drum, large and bulky, producing a loud bass tone. These drums have distinct sounds on either side, with one of the ends being thicker and low and the other one being thinner and higher sound. The library is essentially divided into a bass section and a snare section for easy playing across the keys.
Epic Room Percussion is all about punchy custom toms, octobans and rototoms. The library includes a variety of high, mid and low toms, dual octobans, triple roto-toms and metallic rims recorded in a studio environment. We had to torture the drums a bit to get the unique sounds we wanted out of them, ultimately retiring some of them after the recording sessions.
The 10 Analog Synths Ensemble is an incredibly alive-sounding collection of different analog synths in a lush, acoustic environment. These instruments are singing and vibrating in ways you've never heard before! The basses are warmer, wider and fatter. The pads and leads are piercingly strong. We even recorded a variety of articulations both with and without distorted signals. The sound is undeniably huge, but full of life, emotion and atmosphere.
The 10 Electric Guitars Ensemble contains a wealth of articulations divided into three main categories: Shorts, Sustains and Effects. The Shorts contain a variety of spiccato- and staccato-inspired articulations for fast playing, while the Sustains category contains everything from long luxurious notes, with and without vibrato, to sweet harmonics and tremolos. The large guitar Effects section includes slides, punches, feedback, frets, rakes, scrapes, strums, screams, and everything needed to convey the character and personality of these instruments.
This 10 Electric Basses Ensemble includes everything from short to long notes, fingered, picked, and slapped, with and without vibrato, and in several velocity layers. There are takes with and without amped signals as well, so you can get the gorgeous sound of the amps or a more local DI signal from the basses.
The 10 Drum Kits Ensemble is an incredibly powerful mega-kit. We recorded the kits in several ways, with traditional sticks, mallets, brushes, crescendos, and in a savage/tribal style. Using individual spot microphones, you have access to 10 unique kits, which allows you to create your own ensemble and dial in precisely the sound that works with your mix. Or, play the full ensemble and get the beefiest toms you’ve ever heard!
The 10 Drum Machines Ensemble is one of the most powerful ensembles we’ve ever heard! This is partially due to the fact we had all players play different drum machines at the same time and recorded them with both hall and individual spot-microphones. But it is also because the hall created so much variation in the sound that we recorded substantial round-robins (repetition samples). The library also includes a bonus kit with special sounds from drum machines as well as 26 presets, covering the whole gamut of musical styles from epic to ambient.
