The Alien Drum (aka Hand Pan) is a unique, tone-based percussion instrument. It is almost impossible to come by, since there is only one maker in the world and fewer than 1,000 drums in circulation. The instrument has a soft, sorrowful, melancholic tone to it and is a perfect companion for emotional or ambient types of scores. The 8Dio Alien Drum was recorded at an average of 15 velocity layers and with 10 round-robin repetitions, so you will never experience any repetition in the articulation.

Water Percussion covers a variety of percussive elements made purely with water. The library includes drum kits made with water drops, cymbals clashed against water surfaces, slapping wet concrete, comprehensive water human beat boxing, and everything in-between. The result is the first library ever developed that truly sounds wet without any additional reverb. No, seriously … Water Percussion is highly experimental and designed for those that want another texture in their music and grooves. It’s wet wiener schnitzel like you never heard before. 

Wind Chimes are chimes constructed from suspended tubes, rods or other objects and are often made of metal or wood. Wind Chimes are usually hung outside of a building or house and are intended to be played by the wind. Sound can be produced when the tubes or rods hit a suspended central clapper, in the form of a ball or horizontal disk, or each other.

If you are into dark music, wild sound design and looking for an entirely fresh approach to sound design – look no further.  Free Radicals contains over 4GB (compressed down to 2GB) sound design, consisting of viral ambiences, gritty ambiences, rhythmic ambiences, three sets of long bacterial “hits” and three sets of small bacterial “hits”. In addition the library also contains a variety of parasitical risers both short and long – and a deep-sampled collection of microwave sounds. Free Radicals is not a conventional sample library. It is not trying to be polite or polished. This is raw, hardcore crazy sampling. It is unexpected and chaotic. Impossible to tame and with a brain burning sound to it.
