Welcome to CAGE: the most comprehensive collection of Orchestral Effects ever done. CAGE comes in three volumes for Strings, Brass and Woodwinds, each containing 9 microphone positions. The microphones are divided into two groups: Ensemble (Close, Mixed, Decca, Far, Wide) and Divisi (Spot Mic 1, 2, 3 and 4). Whether you want to use the full ensemble sound or highlight specific instruments and colors, you can set the perfect mix with just a few clicks. The CAGE Bundle contains all three volumes of CAGE.
CAGE is the most comprehensive collection of orchestral FX ever done. Take something as simple as a “string riser.” You won’t find just one rising string sound, but a whole bank of effects, with legato motion, tremolo, trilling, horror effects, and more. No matter what you need, CAGE has it.
CAGE Strings are split into high and low string ensembles, each with a huge set of hits, pulses, textures, glisses, and more. CAGE Brass includes Trumpet, Horns, and Trombones Ensembles. Alongside the huge suite of FX, these ensembles also have aggressive, powerful, and burning shorts and sustains. Like the Strings, CAGE Woodwinds contains a high ensemble (7 Piccolos & 7 Also Flutes) and a low ensemble (7 Contrabassoons & 7 Contrabass Clarinets).
With CAGE, we wanted to create something definitive and unrivaled. It is nearly impossible to find an effect not covered. The incredible depth of articulations is supported by our custom CAGE Chaos Engine, which allows you to take complete control of the sound with a full suite of FX. You can even randomize over 1,500 parameters with a single click. An infinity of possibilities. The entire user-interface was designed to be easy for newcomers and experts alike.
CAGE has an advanced, yet highly intuitive interface. The UI includes a simple and powerful articulation browser with assignable articulations, advanced arpeggiation, and polyphonic step sequencing. You can switch to the Mixer or Effects tabs with a single click.

CAGE contains 9 different microphones, divided into 5 ensemble mics (close, mixed, decca, far, & wide) and 4 spot mics, allowing you to dial in the perfect sound, no matter what you need. In addition, CAGE also comes with a wealth of unique convolution presets, so you can add otherworldly flavors to your sound.
CAGE Chaos Engine
The CAGE Chaos Engine is perhaps the most extreme feature in CAGE. We wanted to take the idea of Aleatoric Music (Chance & Randomization) and port into the user interface. The CAGE Chaos Engine allows you randomize over 1,500 parameters with one click. Maximum Chaos. Maximum Inspiration.
